Rewinding of Audio Transformers is one of the most time-consuming and nasty jobs in transformer buisiness. You have to exercise patience with all things which you doing. Only pinpointing every detail will give a clean reproduction of the old transformer.

A lot of companies are compaigning for their "detailed" rewinding of transformers. At full prospect customers have send their old piece for repairing believing to get back their old transformer with new windings. But, they have only get back a complete new transformer, the old one destroyed forever.

I´m doing my rewinds with the old laminations, which will cost me o lot of time, but, no new magnetical material can simulate a fourty or much older piece, because each output transformers was played under different terms and conditions and therefore, the laminations are the most important things to get back the original sound after a breakdown.

From time to time I will give you a deep inside  in some of my rewound transformers for customers and their coments. Rewinds can be done after a special arrangement and will take arround eight weeks.
